An impressive and authentic Nigerian amulet (power object), hand-carved from bone. This object combines artistic craftsmanship with deep spiritual symbolism.
Meaning & Use:
Such objects were worn by spiritual leaders or hunters as a source of protection and power. The hollow upper side often served to store ritual substances, while the carved face watches over the wearer. The two holes make it possible to wear the object on a leather cord around the neck or shoulder.

Material: Solid bone with a beautiful, lived-in patina (dark natural discoloration from age).
