Limoges porcelain dessert service in white with a decorative motif - at the center, a tender green linden leaf with an insect walking on this leaf.
The insects are polychrome - hand-painted - trompe-l'oeil, giving the impression that the insect is present on the leaf.
Butterfly - ladybug - beetle - cicada - bee.
Each piece bears the stamp of the Manufacture de Limoges with the initials A-VIGNAUD - maker and decorator at the Manufacture from 1912 to 1970. Its manufacture would become the Bernardaud house in 1970.
