Description from the seller
In this piece of history of German photography from the early twentieth century: a Dr. R. Krügener Teddy, produced in Frankfurt around 1903. This 9x12 cm plate folding camera is a refined example of the production of Dr. Rudolf Krügener, one of the pioneers who contributed to the founding of Zeiss Ikon in 1926.
The camera is distinguished by the characteristic red (burgundy) leather pouch and the construction of high-quality black wood and leather. It is equipped with a lens on a central shutter with exposure times, a system that at the time was an excellent standard for advanced amateur photographers.
