THE FOREST, designed by Mateusz Paszko, presents a handmade solid oak stump finished with traditional Shou Sugi Ban in a one-of-a-kind side table measuring 19 by 19 cm and 35 cm tall, produced in Poland in 2020 or later and described as like new.
Description from the seller
THE FOREST Art & Woodworking Studio Unique Series
Symbol 5 — a solid wood stump fully charred using the traditional Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique, creating a deep matte-black surface and pronounced grain. Hand-finished and sealed for durability, it works as a side table, pedestal, or sculptural accent—each piece is one of a kind.
Standing 35 cm tall with a surface measuring 19 cm by 19 cm, this table is crafted from old reclaimed oak wood, giving it a second life.
The entire log has been meticulously sanded to reveal its intriguing grain patterns and natural color variations, with numerous cracks adding to its character. Finished with high-quality, premium oil wax, this table showcases the beauty of the wood while ensuring durability. This unique piece is perfect for adding a rustic yet elegant touch to any setting.
