Rodenstock Lumofort Analogue camera

The Rodenstock Lumofort is a folding plate camera, produced in the 6.5×9 cm format.

Identification: Often associated in historical/collectors contexts as the “Lumofort Reporter camera.”

Context: The term Lumofort is frequently linked to Rodenstock optics or cameras from a bygone era (often preceding or around the mid-20th century), paired with Deckel shutters (such as Compur).

Features: It is a metal folding camera, typical of the period when Rodenstock produced not only high-precision lenses but also camera bodies, before concentrating exclusively on ophthalmic lenses, such as today’s progressive, biometric, and sunglasses lenses.

Antique Rodenstock Lumofort camera from the early 1900s, very well preserved, some signs of wear but a valuable piece for collectors and antiques enthusiasts, complete with photographic plates, plate holder, and original cases, I don’t know how it operates but a rare antique piece, functional.
