A rectangular gilded bronze frame in Rococo revival style dating to 1850–1900, made in France, mounted on two curved feet with a rear stand, with a glass back and internal 10×14 cm dimensions (external 19×29 cm).

A superb rectangular frame in gilded bronze, mounted on two curved feet with a rear support. The back is fitted with a glass panel.
The front is richly chased with Rococo-style motifs: volutes, acanthus leaves, and garlands. An open pediment forms a kind of crest at the top, decorated with flowers and a small putto mask (angel). The side uprights feature relief female busts surrounded by scrolls. The bottom crosspiece is adorned with a mascaron of a satyr or Bacchus flanked by wings, a common symbol in Rococo iconography.
Frame made circa 1880.
