Panoramic view of the High Tatras mountains (in Poland or Slowakia) was executed by listed Austrian landscape painter Toni Haller (1907 Vienna - 1944 Königsberg, now Kaliningrad). The artist was popular in those time with his mountains landscapes from the travels around Central and East Europe.
Literature: Prof.H.Fuchs "Austrian painters", Vienna, 1975.
Inscription: signed lower right.
Technique: oil on canvas. Original period frame.
Measurements: unframed w 39 1/3" x h 27 1/2" (100 x 70 cm), framed w 45 1/4" x h 33 1/2" (115 x 85 cm)
Condition: in very good condition
