STEFANO BUSONERO THE PAINTER WHO DOES NOT WANT TO SELL HIS PAINTINGS
Bedini Tarcisio (Ostra, March 25, 1929 – Rome, October 26, 1962)
The artist belongs to the family of decorators and painters of the Bedini, son of Marcantonio. After an apprenticeship in his father's workshop, Tarcisio studied in Macerata at the “Tirocinio d’arte”, in Rome at the Beato Angelico Academy and the Academy of Fine Arts where he earned his diploma. His painting: decorative in character with predominantly sacred themes, and of restoration. He loves Impressionist painting and, in particular, that of Cézanne, of whom he will preserve the tendencies until his death. Where he was artistically active: in the areas of origin, Macerata, Catanzaro, Rome. Some of his works: about eighty (or perhaps a little more) oil paintings remain and numerous drawings made with pencil, charcoal, chalk, pastels and ink. We recall two of his frescoes: the one in the church of St. Anthony in Settebagni (province of Rome – 1959) and the one in the council hall of the Catanzaro town hall (1961).
Provenance Italian private collection.
