Antike Stabbrosche mit Rubin und Rosenschliff-Diamanten

Epoche: Spätviktorianisch bis frühedwardianisch, ca. 1890–1910

Feine antike Stabbrosche aus 18 Karat Rotgold (750), gefertigt um die Jahrhundertwende vom 19. zum 20. Jahrhundert.

Ausführung

Die Brosche ist in klassischer Stabform gearbeitet und misst ca. 55 mm in der Länge.
Gesamtgewicht: 3,1 Gramm.

Im Zentrum befindet sich eine runde Clusterfassung mit:
	•	1 rund facettiertem Rubin, ca. 0,30 ct
	•	10 Rosenschliff-Diamanten, zusammen ca. 0,30 ct

Der Rubin zeigt ein kräftiges, sattes Rot mit natürlicher innerer Struktur. Die Diamanten sind im typischen historischen Rosenschliff ausgeführt mit flacher Unterseite und gewölbter Oberseite, wodurch sie das für die Epoche charakteristische weiche, silbrig-graue Funkeln erzeugen.

Die warme Tönung des Rotgoldes und die handwerkliche Ausführung sprechen für eine kontinentaleuropäische Fertigung um 1900.

Stilistische Einordnung

Clusterbroschen mit zentralem Farbstein und diamantener Rosenschliff-Umrandung sind charakteristisch für:
	•	Spätviktorianische Schmuckkunst (ca. 1880–1900)
	•	Übergang zur Edwardianischen Epoche (bis ca. 1910)

Die Kombination aus Rubin und Rosenschliff-Diamanten war besonders beliebt in der gehobenen Schmuckproduktion dieser Zeit.

Erhaltungszustand

Sehr guter altersgemäßer Zustand.
Normale, dem Alter entsprechende Gebrauchsspuren.
Fassungen stabil, Steine fest sitzend.
