Description from the seller
Original work on a wooden board 50x20 cm, posters, spray paint, acrylic, Posca.
Original and unique work, born from the artist's studio.
Fast and protected shipping.
Lasveguix doesn’t just paint; he tears, layers, reconstructs. His creations are skin-like walls, fragments of urbanity where posters mingle with graffiti, where acrylic speaks with spray paint and Posca. Each piece is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he nourishes his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, one hears the echoes of the great names that marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for torn poster art, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for silhouette, Miss.Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for urban pixel, Obey for the engaged icon.
For more than twenty years active in the street art scene, Lasveguix has managed to establish a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he has translated this street heritage into the studio, creating works where movement, time, and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Recognized for his singularity, he regularly participates in charity galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire, or SOS Préma. His creations reach record prices there, confirming a unique place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix advocates accessible, free, and vibrant art, where each torn piece tells a story of love and positivity.
