Description from the seller
We present this magnificent typical English classic saloon from the 1960s movies and TV series. A true Triumph 2000.
A saloon with a powerful six-cylinder engine and a manual transmission, a very exclusive car that outside of England is a rare bird.
Its condition is excellent, with a glossy original paint in its original blue color. It shows no corrosion and the underbody is in superb condition. It would benefit from a light brush and a protective coat since the paint has faded in some areas. Nevertheless, it has always been kept in a garage, and in Spain’s climate it has remained in this magnificent state.
Internally, its condition is excellent, with red Burgundy leather magnificently cared for and detailed. The headlining, doors, and plastics are likewise in enviable condition. Only the woods, in some places, will need some restoration since the varnish has cracked over time in certain areas. A minor detail with an easy remedy.
Mechanically the car runs fantastically and has been kept very well. The inline six sounds very smooth and the gearbox operates very well.
Currently it does not require an MOT since the owner kept it as part of a collection with other classics and hasn’t used this one much in the last year, but it has the complete history of all MOTs it has passed throughout its life. It would not be a problem to deliver it with the MOT up to date and as a historic vehicle if the client requests it and we discuss it.
As mentioned, there is no corrosion on the underbody.
The boot is lined with its original carpet in perfect condition.
Spanish paperwork, registered to be transferred without issues.
It is a unit that came straight to Spain in its era.
Its overall operation is very good, and its overall state of conservation is spectacular. A non-restored unit. And of course LHD, steering wheel on the European side (not English) since its manufacture, very rare for this model.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
