Large postmodern acrylic wall clock with a black rubber frame, model Proditus from the Morphos for Acerbis collection, Italian-made, quartz movement with a 1-day power reserve, non‑chiming, in good used condition with light signs of wear, 81×81 cm, 5 cm deep, 5 g, functional.
Description from the seller
Large wall clock, with postmodern design, datable to the late 1980s and early 1990s, characterized by a strong graphic and architectural imprint.
The object presents itself as a true wall artwork: a rigorous geometric composition in which the dial is integrated into an abstract drawing made of chromatic arches and perspective planes, with clear references to the language of Italian postmodernism and to the visual culture of the era.
The panel graphics use a palette typical of the period (red, orange, yellow, turquoise, grays), balancing color and geometry in a way that is both balanced and recognizable. The minimalist black hands interact with the composition without overpowering it, reinforcing the idea of an object halfway between functional design and wall art.
The square rubber frame surrounding the entire composition, accentuating its dramatic presence and making it suitable for both domestic environments and professional spaces or vintage-modern collections.
The model, as the images also show, highlights the recognizability typical of Italian design productions and appears, in the lower corner, to belong to the Proditus collection, linked to the Morphos series for Acerbis of the era.
Good overall condition, with normal signs of wear consistent with the age of the item. Graphics well preserved. Functioning with battery. No charging reserve.
