An original Junghans pendule in fine condition from the Art Deco period 1920-1930.
The apparently ash-wood clock case has an imposing presence due to its light brown colour.
On the front, symmetrically crafted round corner profiles can be seen on both sides.
The convex glass door closes nicely with a brass rim, while the brass dial is completely intact with beautifully cleanly executed Art Deco style hands.
The movement of Junghans is like new after ultrasonic cleaning and re-oiling, is perfectly leveled and runs superbly, as does the 3-tone bim-bam strike which creates a pleasant sound at every half and full hour.
The back door bears the Junghans hallmark.
