France assay mark, ealry 20th century, 950/000, and same date marker's mark.
Offered for sale is a finely crafted antique figurine in solid silver, depicting a musician in lively pose, inspired by the works of Jacques Callot.
The figure represents a troubadour playing a stringed instrument, dressed in period costume with hat and feather, reflecting the distinctive style of Callot’s engravings. The composition is dynamic and expressive, with finely detailed features and garments.
