Original board from the famous adventure “Objectif Lune” (The Adventures of Tintin), dated May 17, 1950 on the reverse by stamp. This unique piece, measuring 27.2 cm x 21.6 cm, is a rare witness to Hergé’s creative process.
Particularities:
Variants in certain panels and unpublished textual elements that differ from the final published version.
Panels: Panels 3, 4, and 5 differ from the final published version.
Added “DRRRING” sounds, arranged or with fewer Rs.
Speech bubbles in panel 14: “Bougres de cornichons de zouaves de tonnerre de Brest !...” (versus a slightly modified formulation in the definitive edition as “Cornichons de zouaves de tonnerre de Brest !...”).
Stamp and date on the reverse attest to its origin and its age.
