Porcelain Amsterdams bont bowl from the Qianlong dynasty (1736–1795), decorated with a cherry-p picker scene, diameter about 15 cm, depth 15 cm and height 6.8 cm, in good used condition with minor signs of age; origin China, private collection provenance, not supplied with a stand.
Description from the seller
A so-called Amsterdam bont bowl with cherry-picker decoration. This type of porcelain is a coming together of worlds. The bowl was made of porcelain in China with underglaze blue. In the Netherlands, however, this bowl was subsequently over-painted since that was cheaper.
The bowl is decorated with a cherry-picker, a man and a woman on a small scene (possibly Prince William and Anna of Hanover), and on the inside a handle-less basket with flowers.
The bowl is in good condition for its age. It has a diameter of about 15 cm. It has no cracks and only a few small mouse bites at the rim. There is also some color loss here and there.
The bowl will be well packed and shipped insured.
