Model History:

The Seiko Presage line represents Seiko’s approach to combining traditional Japanese aesthetics with reliable mechanical watchmaking. While the Presage collection officially became a global line later in the 2010s, many earlier JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) models such as the SARY series already showcased the design philosophy that would later define the Presage family.
The SARY013 is a refined automatic dress watch powered by Seiko’s dependable 4R36 movement, offering both hacking seconds and manual winding. Its standout feature is the beautiful textured black sunburst dial, which reflects light in a radial pattern and gives the watch a dynamic appearance depending on the viewing angle.
Today these early Presage-style JDM references are appreciated for their excellent build quality, reliable movements, and distinctive dial finishing.

This watch is in very nice overall condition. The stainless steel case and bracelet show light signs of wear consistent with normal use but remain well preserved. The textured black sunburst dial is clean and attractive, with applied indices and luminous material in excellent condition. The crystal is scratch-free. The watch retains its original Seiko bracelet. The 4R36 automatic movement has been serviced, and all functions, including the day-date change, operate correctly. Offered without box and papers. The watch comes with a 3-month functionality guarantee.
