- One of 592 produced, left-hand drive European spec
- Matching numbers and colors

HISTORY / OVERVIEW
The MG C Roadster is a British sports car created to combine elegance, comfort and brilliant performance, while preserving the distinctive character of the MG marque. Introduced in the late 1960s as an evolution of the MG B, it stands out for adopting the inline-six Austin Healey engine, which provides more power and smoother, more substantial driving. It was produced in a limited number of units and is today very rare, with only 592 units built with left-hand drive and European specifications.
EXTERIOR
The bodywork is in its original Red, well preserved and previously restored, with minimal signs of aging and use. The exterior chrome trim is complete, correct and generally in excellent condition. A new soft top has just been installed and is in perfect condition, it opens and closes smoothly; the tonneau is also present, and a polishing and detailing treatment has just been completed.
The underbody is generally solid and original, having undergone some restoration work in the past; no accident traces were found, and it is currently road-registered.
INTERIOR
The interior is complete and in good condition, preserving originality with the addition of a sport steering wheel and a rare set of original Fusina seats, correct for the late 1960s. The dashboard is complete and original, including the rare odometer instruments and all period accessories. A thorough sanitization has just been performed.
MECHANICS
Mechanically, the car has the original matching-numbers inline-six engine, recently restarted after a period of disuse. The mechanicals have always been cared for by University Motors of Genoa, specialists in classic cars. The gearbox operates, the clutch is fine, gears shift correctly, and the overdrive is functional. The car recently passed the roadworthiness inspection valid until March 2028 and is road-legal. It drives nicely on the road, though a quick check before use is always advisable due to the low recent mileage and the long idle period.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
