Oval silver box, entirely edged with beaded and guilloché friezes, with a bezel-set cabochon that appears to be amber in a yellow-orange color, with inclusions inside and a glossy, plastic-like sheen. Note that the locking mechanism is offset due to the stone, which would suggest that the box was made especially for her.
On the back, a very heavily faded silver hallmark, 800 or 900.
