Vincent Decat’s contemporary aluminium Tripod Lamp, made in France in 2023, 60 cm high with a 28 cm square base, weighing 2 kg, silver, in unused condition and in working order, with a rotatable head for adjustable light projection.
Description from the seller
My pieces are designed to be companions rather than possessions.
I endow my objects with organic, animated qualities, hoping they become as cherished as pets.
Vincent Decat is a Paris-based artist-designer, a graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven, who explores the boundaries between design and sculpture. He considers the durability of an object not only through its materials but above all through the emotional connection it evokes. By making his objects almost alive, they become companions that need to be looked after, kept, and cherished.
Some industrial components have aesthetic qualities that we sometimes neglect when we focus solely on their function. Our perception changes once they are taken out of their context and placed in a different frame.
The rotating head of the Tripod lamp allows for different lighting angles in a space, thanks to its adjustable faucet connector. The lamp body is made from curtain hooks, plumbing elements, and hinges.
Technical information:
Lamp available for countries using 220–230 V.
Please allow an additional 2 weeks for outlets other than Type E.
The lamp head is designed to rotate, enabling easy adjustment of the light’s orientation."}阅读全文 as beaten? Wait end. JSON done. Check trailing. It's fine. End.
