Description from the seller

Main Features:
Design and Structure: It is a two-level model, featuring a top surface and an open middle shelf, with a single drawer at the base. The drawer has relief moldings and a central metal pull.
Turned Elements: The most striking decorative element is the columns and feet in turning work (bobbin or Solomonic style), which support the various levels of the piece.

Style: This type of furniture is often identified as Colonial, D. Maria, or turned-leg style, very common in traditional Portuguese bedroom sets.
Functionality: In addition to bedside tables, pieces with this open-shelf format (called a whatnot in English) were also used as side tables or for displaying objects.
