Salad servers - .800 silver - 1850-1900

Salad service with a silver-handled piece, 1st-quality 800‰ hallmark with a weevil mark, probably manufactured in Germany during the second half of the 19th century.

Decoration in Louis XV style, possibly German Rococo; the handle is entirely covered with rocaille motifs from which acanthus leaves and flowers spring. All finely hand-engraved.

Sold in its original box, whose interior is white silk and silk velvet.

In excellent overall condition; you are buying what you see in the photos.
