Tiger cub in glazed ceramic – Ronzan, Italy – ca. 1930–1940
Professionally shipped – more than 850 five-star reviews worldwide.
Glazed ceramic figurine of a tiger cub, made by Ronzan in Italy in the first half of the 20th century. The animal is depicted in a semi-upright pose with its head slightly raised. The modeling is carefully worked out with a clear focus on form and proportion.
The decoration is executed with hand-painted stripes and painted details. The glaze is evenly applied. The underside is marked with the Ronzan designation and the accompanying model number.
Height approx. 15 cm and length approx. 21 cm; in good condition with light signs of use appropriate for age and handling, without cracks or restorations. Note the small scratch on the forehead.
