Beautiful specimen—look closely at the photos.
LEGO 10241 Maersk Line Triple-E is an exclusive Advanced Models set with 1,518 pieces, released in 2014. It includes the Maersk Triple-E ship with rotating gold-colored propeller blades and a porthole on the port side to view the twin propulsion motors.
The model includes gold-colored propeller blades that can spin, two brick-built 8-cylinder engines, a window to view the engine compartment, rudders that can be adjusted, lifeboats that can be detached, removable containers and rotating crane arms.
The set includes a display stand and a facts plaque with detailed information about the ship.
The Maersk Line Triple-E was the largest container ship in the world at the time the set was released.
Maersk Line Triple-E was designed by LEGO designer Jamie Berard.
It is a co-branded set with Maersk.
The two iconic Danish companies: Maersk Line and Lego — "There are some new parts in this model, but the two orange lifeboats stand out. They look more like inflatable lifeboats than the enclosed lifeboats they depict. Lego has used the minifigure ice skates as two radar scanners. These can be built so that the scanners sit at slightly different heights, as they would on the real ship, so they don’t interfere with each other when both are transmitting"
