Ove Larsen for Raadvad - Original Danish Bread Slicer - Model 295 - Blue & Oak
Description (English):
A true icon of Danish functionalist design. This original bread slicer, Model 295, was designed by Ove Larsen for Raadvad and has been a staple in Danish kitchens for decades.
This particular version features the elegant and sought-after combination of a blue cast iron frame and a light wood (oak/beech) board and handle. While originally designed for slicing bread, it is now globally popular as a unique decorative item, a cookbook holder, or even a small bookshelf.
The slicer is fully functional with a sharp stainless steel blade and an adjustable thickness setting.
Condition:
The slicer is in excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of wear, which adds to its authentic charm. It has been thoroughly cleaned and the blade is sharp. The original Raadvad logo is clearly visible on the wood.
