This daalder from 1682, minted in Middelburg, weighs 15.52 grams and has a diameter of 36 mm. The mintmark is a fortress and the coin was struck under mint master Hendrik van Heumen, type II with loose devices. Obverse: an armored knight standing and looking to the right, with helmet, sash and sword in the right hand, beside the crowned coat of arms of Zeeland bottom left. Inscription in Latin with the text: LUCTOR ET EMERGO.

Reverse: the coat of arms of the First Noble of Zeeland (Prince William III) in the center, surrounded by the six emblems of the Zeeland towns Middelburg, Zierikzee, Goes, Tholen, Vlissingen and Veere, connected by a ribbon behind the shields. Inscription in Latin with the text: MO NO ARG ORDIN ZEELANDIÆ · 1682 · 30 ST (Moneta nova argentea ordinum Zeelandiae, 30 Stuivers).
