Antique tin globe from Chad Valley from the 1940s-1950s of the last century. Model 10175. Very decorative.

The globe and stand are made of tin. The globe was made in the United Kingdom for the French market. Hence all toponymic labels and the text on the bottom of the base are in French.

The globe stands 20 cm tall. The diameter of the sphere is 12 cm. It weighs about 175 grams.

Antieke blikken wereldbol van Chad Valley uit de jaren '40-'50 van de vorige eeuw. Model 10175. Zeer decoratief. 

De globe en standaard zijn gemaakt van blik. De globe is in het Verenigd Koninkrijk gemaakt voor de Franse markt. Vandaar dat alle topografische aanduidingen en de tekst onderop de voet in het Frans zijn. 

De globe heeft een hoogte van 20cm. De diameter van de bol is 12cm. Het gewicht bedraagt zo'n 175 gram.
