Magnificent carved wood frame, chiseled, stuccoed and gilded.
Dramatic, beautiful in appearance and form, its main feature is the majestic outer ribbed edge, characterized by elaborate carvings and scrollwork, chiseled to swirl around the frame and making it an object of exceptional charm.
The complex decorative motifs are beautiful: acanthus leaves, shells, other floral elements, and a diamond engraving that run along the inner profile of the frame, meticulously crafted and masterfully executed, highlighting its elegance and offering great appeal.
This striking frame, very well cared for in the details, richly covered with plaster and in gilded wood, presents itself with optimal dimensions for displaying paintings, portraits or a mirror.
Even if with small signs of time (see photo), this frame is a true masterpiece.
