Magnificent carved, chiselled, stuccoed and gilded wooden frame.
Dramatic, beautiful in appearance and in form, its main feature is the majestic fluted outer edge characterized by elaborate carvings and scrolls, chiselled so that it swirls harmoniously around the frame, making it an object of exceptional charm.
The decorative motifs are complex and beautiful, acanthus leaves, shells and other floral elements that follow along the inner profile of the frame, meticulously crafted and masterfully executed, enhance its elegance and are very pleasing.
This frame, of great impact and very well cared for in the details, richly covered with plaster and gilded wood, presents itself in optimal dimensions to display paintings, portraits or a mirror.
Even though it shows small signs of age (see photo), this frame is a true masterpiece.
