A wonderful item and a true collectible for the NBA fan.
Wardell Stephen (Steph) Curry II (born March 14, 1988, in Akron) is an American professional basketball player who turned pro in 2009 with the Golden State Warriors in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award in 2015 and 2016 and is a five-time NBA All-Star. He was a champion in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors in the 2014/15, 2016/17, and 2017/18 seasons. Curry also plays for the United States national basketball team. With this team he won gold at the 2010 and 2014 Basketball World Cups.
During the 2009 NBA Draft, Curry was drafted by the Golden State Warriors. He signed a four-year contract worth $12.7 million. He was assigned jersey number 30—the same number his father wore during his NBA career. On October 28, 2009, he made his NBA debut against the Houston Rockets. During the 2011 NBA All-Star Game he won the Skills Challenge. That same season he broke Rick Barry’s free-throw percentage record: 93.4%. In May 2011 Curry underwent surgery on his right ankle due to a torn ligament. The rest of the season he continued to suffer from this ankle, which he sprained three more times in games. In total he played in 26 of the 66 games that season.
