Description from the seller

Napoleon III Liqueur Cabinet - Marquetry – 19th Century - 4 Decanters - 16 Glasses

Elegant French liqueur cabinet dating from the end of the 19th century, Napoleon III era.
This salon piece is made of veneered wood, adorned with refined floral marquetry depicting a vase of flowers, framed by light inlays. The base and the top are in blackened wood, typical of decorative production from that period.
The cabinet opens to reveal an interior arranged with four glass decanters and sixteen matching glasses, with gilded rims.
The glassware is later but well suited to the compartments, homogeneous and aesthetically coherent with the whole.
A decorative and collectible object, representative of salon liqueur cabinets from the late 19th century, valued for both its elegance and its craftsmanship.

Overall good condition considering its age.
Light traces of use and wear consistent with an antique item.
Solid structure, marquetry well preserved.
Glassware complete, not original.
