Description from the seller
Antique set of 6 goblets, Gravè molato pattern and hand-decorated. These glasses correspond to one of Baccarat's most prestigious lines, renowned for refinement, the lightness of crystal, the precision of handmade work, and the decoration composed of elegant swirls and Rocaille motifs that chase each other along the entire circumference of the bowl.
The base of the bowl is thick and mounts onto a stem of great character, worked with six clear facets (faces) that capture and reflect light in a prismatic way. The base is circular, flat, and perfectly proportioned to ensure stability.
Their simple and elegant shape is pleasant to the touch and very comfortable to hold in the hand. The set is in excellent condition, with minimal imperfections due to manual workmanship. They are unsigned as they predate the year 1936. France, Baccarat Gravè model is listed in the 1903/1904 catalog.
