Description from the seller
Dutch Bar Cabinet.
Circa 1700.
Beautiful quarter-sawn oak with a lovely patina.
The drawers in the interior are 19th century.
And the lining in the drawers for cutlery is 20th century.
These cabinets were not only found in the province of Utrecht but all across Holland.
All the way to Groningen or Friesland.
Nice portable size: 170 cm high.
Transport:
In the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, France and Spain we transport the furniture wrapped in packing blankets and bring it inside. For other countries it is on a wooden pallet in sturdy cardboard and splash-water resistant film up to the doorstep.
For islands we charge a higher rate; delivery is to the door, assistance is appreciated because the driver is alone, the driver is not allowed to go inside or up the stairs.
The carrier will contact you directly to arrange delivery.
He has your telephone number and email address.
>>> These transports usually do not have a track and trace system.
I will provide a dummy code for Catawiki's computer system.
You cannot track the transport.
Take photos of the packaging upon receipt to rule out damage during transport.
Usually it is not possible to ship within three days; you may ignore the reminders from Catawiki.
Usually it takes between three and seven days to arrive.
You approve and sign for good receipt with the driver.
Any damage must be reported immediately on this form.
That is required for the insurance.
Damage that occurs afterwards is your own responsibility.
An 'empty' form means a good receipt.
The carrier will call you to make an appointment for delivery.
You are free to arrange the transport yourself as well; indicate this in your payment to Catawiki.
For countries outside Europe you must pay additional customs fees and there are extra costs for clearance and administration. For non-European countries I quote one amount for convenience, but amounts can vary.
I am happy to inform you. Please contact me.
