Exceptional sun-shaped mirror in Italian Murano crystal, from the mid-20th century, in amber. Its circular design features alternating radial pieces in amber-colored crystal with a straight profile and other pieces in relief, translucent crystal with a fleur-de-lis pattern. All pieces are topped with classic rosettes that frame and embellish the mounting points. These finishes are part of the historical tradition of Murano Crystal craftsmanship and, in a sense, evoke the grand Venetian mirrors that adorned palaces in the 18th and 19th centuries.
