Napoléon III era portico clock in alabaster and gilded bronze, circa 1850–1900, with a mechanical winding movement, several days power reserve, hour and half-hour bell strike, and a decorative alabaster dial set in a bronze surround, France origin, in good used condition with minor aging marks; measures 41.5 × 24 × 13 cm and weighs 4.470 kg.

“Ancient Napoléon III-era portico clock in alabaster and gilded bronze, functional.
Magnificent Napoléon III period portico clock (late 19th century), made of alabaster and richly adorned with finely chased gilded bronze.
The circular alabaster dial with Roman numerals is framed by an elegant gilded bronze motif, with an architected structure typical of portico clocks. The upper part is surmounted by a decorative vase with handles, adding a lot of charm to the ensemble.
The clock rests on an alabaster base and is decorated with floral motifs and gilded bronze volutes. It is equipped with its pendulum featuring a radiant-faced figure as well as its striking bell.
Key-wound mechanical movement (key supplied).
The clock is in working condition.
Elegant decorative object ideal for a classic interior or a collection of antique clocks.
Good overall condition, nice gilding, slight signs of wear and micro-scratches in keeping with age, no breakage, presence of light scratches on the alabaster dial, as well as small signs of aging; see photos—they are part of the description.
