Description from the seller
This beautiful fluorite specimen from Clara Mine in Germany impresses with its transparency and the fascinating purple zoning. The clear crystals and the delicate colors make this piece a truly hypnotic eye-catcher and a highlight of any mineral collection.
Clara Mine is known for its exceptional fluorite finds and has made a name for itself among collectors worldwide. The area encompasses many old tunnels, the former open pits, as well as the current Clara Mine proper, which today is accessed via two mine openings. In the past, barite and ore were mined and transported down to the valley by a cable car. The most coveted mineral at Clara Mine after baryte is fluorite. Numerous forms, excellent quality, generous crystal sizes, and the attractive combinations with other minerals make it a very appealing mineral.
