Description from the seller

Rare spice shaker set produced in Italy, in Milan, by the famous Cenacchi silverware.

They suit any table with their classic and refined design, adding a touch of great class.

Made of glass and with a silver-plated stopper.

Excellent condition.

The Cenacchi company of Augusto Cenacchi produced high-quality artistic furnishings for the home (brass beds, lampshades, lamps, chandeliers, silver trays, dishes) as early as 1961.
Inside the company, spaces were well distributed among various departments (machine shop, presses, toolmaking, carpentry, metal cleaning and polishing, electroplating baths, assembly, lampshades, testing, goods warehouse, shipping, showroom, offices, reception, etc.).
Almost the entire workforce was from Molinella and nearby municipalities, apart from a small group of expert engravers/cutters from Bologna. The company was led by Augusto Cenacchi, who worked with his wife and his brother Alfredo and, later, with other relatives. It highly focused on product quality, which it successfully advertised at various trade fairs (Milano in particular).
As early as 1966, therefore just a few years after its founding, Cenacchi employed as many as 140 employees, demonstrating exceptional growth in turnover and product quality. In the golden period (mid-70s), the company reached its staffing peak with 167 employees, men and women, placing it among the top three private companies in Molinella’s industrial fabric. With the crisis and the national and international economic recession of 1983-84, Cenacchi, like many others in Italy, was overwhelmed. In the following years there was an attempt by his brother Alfredo to revive those artistic crafts, but it did not yield the hoped-for results.
