“The Chromatic Duality” è un’opera d’arte visiva dinamica che cattura l’eleganza fluida e il temperamento ardente del Betta Splendens. Questa scultura non è statica; è un'esperienza sensoriale progettata per evolversi e trasformarsi a seconda del punto di osservazione dell'astante.

L'artista ha dipinto il pesce con una meticolosa finitura bi-facciale, dividendo l'opera tra due mondi cromatici distinti ma complementari:

Il Lato della Passione: Da un'angolazione, la scultura è dominata da un rosso profondo, quasi cremisi, arricchito da un’iridescenza che lo fa sembrare velluto scarlatto bagnato. Questa finitura avvolge le pieghe delle pinne, evocando il movimento del fuoco e l’energia indomabile del pesce combattente.

Il Lato della Profondità: Ruotando la scultura, lo scenario cambia radicalmente. Un blu zaffiro profondo, quasi notturno, prende il sopravvento. Le pinne diventano un mantello di onde oceaniche, trasmettendo calma e mistero. Questa finitura blu presenta riflessi che richiamano la luce che penetra nelle profondità dell'acqua.

L’effetto “Riflessi Inversi”: Il vero segreto dell’opera risiede nell’interazione tra i due colori. I riflessi non sono semplici contorni, ma sono progettati come "riflessi inversi" che avvolgono la forma del pesce. Il rosso proietta bagliori dorati-violacei sul lato blu, e il blu emana sfumature petrolio e cobalto sul lato rosso. Questo crea un effetto di profondità unico che avvolge il corpo centrale del pesce come un guscio cromatico, regalando viste sempre diverse e riflessi cangianti in base all'illuminazione dell'ambiente.
