Description from the seller
Offer: Very beautiful and rarer large-scale work by visual artist Thea Figee, blown and in collaboration with Bernhard Heesen. The sculpture is executed in characteristic art glass with a rich red field and a subtly iridescent, mottled decor. The surface displays a lively play of nuances and depth, typical of the craft production process and Figee's artistic approach.
The design is elegant and balanced: a broad, shallow coupe resting on a discreet stand ring, giving the object a light, almost floating presentation. The piece aligns with the modernist tradition in European art glass, with clear attention to color, texture, and light interaction.
Larger examples in this edition are significantly rarer on the market and are sought after by collectors of studio and design glass.
Dimensions:
Height: 11 cm
Diameter: 34 cm
Condition:
Excellent condition with minimally barely visible signs of use on the stand ring. No cracks or chips detected. For a complete picture, please refer to the photos.
