Thonet - Dining room chair (4) - THONET 21 - Beech

Set of four original Thonet chairs, made of bentwood with cane seats (cannage).

The chairs bear the original Thonet brand mark and model designation, which confirms the authenticity. The design traces back to the iconic work of Michael Thonet, founder of industrial furniture design in the 19th century.

The chairs are in good overall condition. The wooden structures are sturdy and stable.

Note:
The cane seats show slight damage (see photos), presumably caused by storage. This is a known and repairable aspect of this type of chair.
