Antique Luigi XVI Cherry Wood Nightstand with Marble Top
Refined 18th-century nightstand, in the Luigi XVI style, made of finely veneer-covered walnut wood, perfectly preserved and in excellent overall condition.
The furniture features a slender, elegant structure, supported by four tapering tronco-pyramidal legs ending with metal tips. The front consists of two drawers adorned with elegant geometric inlaid frames and original metal handles, with period locks.
The sides are enriched with refined geometric inlay motifs that frame centered octagonal insets with delicate landscapes finely incised, a high-value decorative detail that gives the piece its uniqueness.
The upper surface is a dark, shaped marble top, set into the structure, an element that adds further elegance and enhances the whole. The interior is divided by an intermediate shelf, offering practicality as well as aesthetic value.
