Dial and Hands
The silver dial has developed a prominent, uniform "stardust" patina across its entire surface, characterized by distinct spotting that adds significant visual texture and vintage character. It features applied faceted baton indices with black central inserts, complemented by an applied Omega logo at twelve o'clock and a framed date window at three o'clock. The original dauphine hands also feature black inserts and display noticeable oxidation and aging consistent with the dial's overall patina. The classic cursive "Seamaster" script remains clearly legible above six o'clock, and the "Swiss Made" designation is present at the bottom edge.

Case and Crystal
The 34mm stainless steel case is presented in good vintage condition, retaining its classic proportions and well-defined lug profiles. The smooth polished bezel transitions cleanly to the slightly sweeping, brushed and polished lugs. The case exhibits normal handling marks and light surface scratches commensurate with its age and honest wear. The caseback features a deeply engraved Seamaster Hippocampus medallion that remains exceptionally crisp and well-defined. The watch is protected by a domed acrylic crystal that presents clearly, and the case is completed by a signed Omega crown.

Movement
Powering this timepiece is the beautifully copper-finished Omega Caliber 562 automatic movement, featuring 24 jewels. The movement is visibly well-preserved, with clear engravings across the rotor and bridges, including the caliber number 562 and serial number 22761586, which dates the production of this watch to approximately 1965. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady. The timegrapher results indicate a performance of +25 to +29 seconds per day.

Strap
The watch is fitted with an original Omega stainless steel "beads of rice" bracelet, a highly desirable and exceptionally comfortable configuration for this era. The clasp features a prominent applied Omega logo on the exterior and is correctly stamped with Omega branding and "Stainless Steel" on the interior folding blades. Sized to accommodate a wrist of approximately 17.5cm.

Condition
This timepiece is in good vintage condition. The case remains structurally strong with a remarkably crisp caseback medallion. The dial shows heavy, even stardust spotting throughout, offering a distinct and highly patinated aesthetic that is often sought after by vintage enthusiasts. The hands show matching oxidation. The movement presents cleanly and operates reliably.
