Description from the seller
Stunning marbled-pattern lamp in Art Deco style in earthenware from the famous Saint-Clément manufactory located in eastern France.
Founded around 1758, the Saint-Clément pottery is awarded a gold medal at the Exposition des produits de l'industrie française in 1844.
It later participates in the Universal Exposition of 1855, then in the Universal Exposition of 1878 in Paris, where the factory exhibits its entire know-how which notably attracted Émile Gallé.
The factory was bought in 1892 by Keller & Guérin earthenware of Lunéville and remains in operation today.
Its pedestal is crafted with perfect mastery of symmetry, curves and reliefs.
Its black shade is not original but gives it a modern touch.
This high-quality graphic lamp will bring a touch of French chic and elegance to any interior, whether modern or more classical.
