Sustainable vintage design and simple operation
The «Berkelette» is a slicing machine made entirely from standard units, produced according to the most modern manufacturing methods of the 1960s, 70s and 80s.
The “Berkelette” is a fast and compact machine, with a remarkably modern design for its time and even today an icon.
Thanks to the application of a special material for the container, the machine can be cleaned quickly and easily.
The material applied is absolutely corrosion-resistant, acid and base resistant, oil and grease resistant, light, hard and resilient.
Applying lubricant to the machine is completely unnecessary. All moving components are equipped with self-lubricating bearings.
A compact and fully integrated sharpening device protects the abrasive wheels from dust and grease; it can be easily placed in the correct sharpening position in no time.
The grinding device forms a unit with the machine and therefore cannot be lost or damaged in a fall.
