Adolf Kaufmann (1848-1916), Attributed to - Sheeps on the way

Hello. I am offering a painting by Adolf Kaufmann (1848-1916), oil painting on canvas, dimensions without frame 75-51 (92-67 with frame). Excellent condition, see photo. Adolf Kaufmann was initially self-taught, then studied with Emile van Marcke de Lumen in Paris. His extensive study trips took him almost all over Europe, and he also visited Russia and the Orient. During his life, he lived in Paris, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Munich. From 1890 he settled permanently in Vienna and founded a painting school for ladies with Heinrich Lefler and Carl von Merode. He often returned to France. Adolf Kaufmann was influenced by the Barbizon School. He preferred contrasting, color-intensive mood motifs of forests, trees and lakes. His figures were typical of the Barbizon spirit. He was a master painter of great talent, receiving many recognitions, medals and awards. His clientele included collectors, art lovers, the nobility and also the high aristocracy, including the Austrian imperial family, Napoleon III, the Russian Tsar Nicholas II and the Spanish Queen Isabella II. Good luck at the auction.
