Nikon F Analogue camera

The Nikon F with 12V motor drive is a professional configuration of the storied 35 mm SLR produced by Nikon starting in the late 1950s. In this version, the camera is paired with the high-speed external motor, known as the F36, designed for professional applications such as sports, reportage, and scientific photography.

The base body is the Nikon F, a completely mechanical, robust, and modular SLR regarded as one of the most important cameras in history. The addition of the drive motor radically changes operability, enabling high-speed continuous shooting.

The 12V motor is an external unit connected to the camera via a mechanical coupling and powered by a separate battery pack, often worn crossbody. This system allows a very rapid burst for its era, essential for capturing fast action. Not having the motor’s charger, I was unable to test it; the camera operates in all of its functionalities.
