Description from the seller
XL Neoclassical Table Lamp – Solid Brass – 82 cm – 1970s
A very imposing and stylish table lamp in Neoclassical style, dating from the 1970s/1980s. This lamp is a beautiful example that recalls designs by prestigious houses such as Maison Jansen and SA Boulanger.
High Quality: Weighing no less than 3.5 kg, this is a heavy, solidly crafted object made of solid brass. The brass has a beautiful, deep luster and remains in excellent condition.
Unique Features:
• Dual Light Source: The lamp is equipped with a luxurious "cluster" fitting with two lamps, each independently controlled by the authentic brass pull-chain switches. This provides a very atmospheric and even light distribution.
• Architectural Design: The sleek, round column rests on a characteristic square, stepped base, giving the lamp a timeless and monumental appearance.
• Large Size: With a total height of 82 cm, this is a true "Grand Model", ideal for a sideboard, buffet, or large occasional table.
Specifications:
• Height: 82 cm (overall)
• Base: 13 x 13 cm
• Shade: 35 cm high / 35 cm deep (square with rounded corners)
• Weight: 3.5 kg
• Material: Solid brass / Copper
• Condition: In very good vintage condition. The brass is intact and glossy with minimal signs of aging (see photos for details). The shade is in nice condition.
A timeless design piece that immediately adds class to both a classic and a modern eclectic interior.
"To guarantee safety, we ship the lamp and the shade in separate packages. We have extensive experience safely shipping fragile shades. If any damage occurs during transit, this will be compensated with a credit of 10% of the auction price."
