Extremely fine plaque pendant of blue faience with the facing head of Hathor, typical cow’s ears. Wide ridged suspension loop. Exquisite. Hathor was a major ancient Egyptian goddess of love, beauty, music, dance, joy, fertility, and motherhood, often depicted as a cow or a woman with cow's horns and a sun disk.
