Expressive design vase – sculptural ceramics with three necks

A particularly characterful and sculptural ceramic vase with three organically shaped necks. This striking design combines functionality and artistic form and, whether with flowers or contentless, is a true eye-catcher in any interior.

The vase is finished with an elegant speckled glaze in soft gray and stone tones, with warm brownish accents around the edges of the openings. These subtle color nuances arise during the firing process and are typical for high-quality ceramic glazes where minerals react to high temperatures. The result is a vivid and unique surface with a lot of depth.

The design consists of three smoothly connected vase forms that together create a sculptural composition. Each neck has a slightly different direction, creating a playful dynamism.

This type of multi-neck vase became popular within mid-century modern design from the 1950s to the 1970s, in which ceramics were seen not only as functional objects but also as autonomous design objects.

Ceramic objects with multiple openings were often designed in this period to present different flower stems separately, creating a minimalist and graphic floral arrangement. At the same time, the form also works perfectly as a purely decorative object, suitable for modern, Scandinavian, or brutalist interiors.

The soft, organic shapes recall the work of European studio potters from the second half of the 20th century, where artisanal techniques and experimental glazes were central. In countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia, a strong tradition of studio pottery arose, treating ceramics as both artistic and functional.
