Rare 18th century Delft stoneware rectangular blue and white wall plaque.
Painted in the Chinese style showing a scenery of a lady leaning against a pine tree and a boy pointing at a cornucopia (horn of plenty) sprouting from a plant in the background.
Together they stand in a fenced rocky garden as depicted often on Chinese export porcelain brought to Europe by the V.O.C. in the 17th and 18th centuries.
The plaque adorned with a diaper work border and on all four sides a floral decor within medaillons.
The top pierced with two holes for hanging it on the wall, the reverse glazed and dated 1771.
